The first annual BIRDI Cup is heating up and this week saw major movement in the standings. Shooting the only negative round in the tournament, Rosati carded an impressive -3 under, 69 on a course that proved difficult for most of the field.
The winning card included 6 Birdies and an impressive eagle on the 519 yard par 5, 15th hole. If not for a double on 17, Rosati would have matched the low round of the BIRDI Cup season at -5. But the 3 under was good enough to withstand a charge from several players.
Nick Taylor finished 2nd with an even par round of 72. The round included 3 birdies and 3 bogeys.
Brad Roegiers continued his strong play with another top 5 finish shooting 1 over for the tournament. With his 3rd place finish, Roegiers was able to maintain his slim lead in the BIRDI Cup standings for the 2nd straight week.
The Winning Scorecard
Rosati's Eagle on 15 included a hole out from the bunker.
